For statistical purposes, the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Economic Analysis combines the City of Falls Church with Fairfax City and Fairfax County.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.0 square miles (5.2 km2), all of it land and none of it water.
