  1. Cox Farm Fall Festival –  (15621 Braddock Rd Centreville) Opens September 21 – November 5 This is one of the largest Fall Festivals in NOVA. Lots of activities for the entire family.
  2. Autumn Apple Festival – (Heritage Farm Museum, 21668 Heritage Farm Ln, Sterling VA) On September 28, enjoy hands-on children’s activities all about apples!
  3. Merrifield Fall Festival – (Mosaic District, 2910 District Ave, Fairfax) September 28, 11am-6pm Enjoy live music, kid’s activities a craft fair and more.
  4. Vienna Octoberfest – (131 Church Street, Vienna) Come October 5 from 11am-7pm and enjoy loads of food, vendors, entertainment, kids activities, beer and wine!
  5. Fall for Fairfax Kidsfest – (Fairfax County Government Center) On October 5-6 from 10am-7pm, Saturday & 10am-5pm, Sunday Enjoy exciting, interactive and educational programs, entertainment and activities.
  6. Fall Pumpkin Harvest Festival – (Great Country Farms, Bluemont, VA) On October 5 from 9am-6pm come enjoy picking pumpkins, a corn maze, apple cider and donuts.
  7. Mount Vernon Fall Wine Festival & Sunset Tour – (3200 Mount Vernon Memorial Hwy, Mount Vernon) October 11- 13 6pm – 9pm enjoy live tunes and spectacular views of the Potomac River. Taste samples from 19 Virginia wineries at one of the most popular wine festivals in the Washington, DC area.

Farm Day – Cherry Hill Farmhouse – (Cherry Hill Farmhouse, 312 Park Ave, Falls Church) On October 12 enjoy a day of old fashioned fun and activities for the whole family, including: horse drawn hayrides, petting farm, pony rides, pumpkin painting, scare crow making (bring your own long pants and a sleeved shirt), live music, tours of the farmhouse and barn, blacksmith demonstrations, and food.
  9. Mt. Vernon Fall Harvest Days – (3200 Mount Vernon Hwy, Mt. Vernon, VA) October 19 – 20 from 9am-5pm enjoy fall activities with the whole family at Mount Vernon! Take a horse-drawn wagon ride and play colonial games on the bowling green before heading to the Pioneer Farm to observe 18th-century demonstrations and greet General Washington. Find your way through a straw bale maze and listen to the Itinerant Band play colonial tunes.
  10. Vienna Halloween Parade – (Along Maple Ave in Vienna) October 25 @ 7pm The annual Halloween Parade is one of Vienna’s largest gathering of the year.
